[IT'S A THING and Anya's excitedly heading over not too long afterward - she arrives at Karkat's home not too much earlier than Yu, knocking on it and then turning at the sound of footsteps.

Her eyes light up because regardless of reason this is now a sleepover.]

[ it takes a moment after anya knock for karkat's door to open. he peeks out, as if not entirely sure if it'll actually be them or not, but then opens it more fully once he confirms that is. from the inside of the apartment they will immediately see one of the cats, com, but the others aren't in sight. ]

[ he looks like he has had less sleep than he normally does?? ]

[ This all happened quickly, but he doesn't mind that too much. Gathering up things to stay was the easy part. Hitting a convenience store on his way over was more complicated, just in terms of trying to do things as fast as possible so he wouldn't keep the other two waiting. He ends up feeling sort of proud of himself for making it more or less on time, only slightly behind Anya. He'll grin broadly, disarmed and not thinking to rein himself in, when he sees her. ]

[ When Karkat opens the door his smile cools into something gentler. He'll raise a hand in greeting. ]
