[She takes a turn and starts walking towards the center of the city. It will take them a while to get there, probably. She's quiet at first (for once), just walking in silence.]

[ he looks around, as if trying to find something quickly. ]

[ it looks fine, but he is not the biggest fan of the city. ]

There is nothing wrong with the city itself. Your issue is with the fact that it kidnaps and tortures its inhabitants.

[She looks out at the city, which does not start blaring neon flashing signs labeled DECEIT or anything.]

It is not so different from what Alternia would do when confronted by dissidents, you know.

[She's not entirely sure how she feels about that.]

[ it's strange thinking about alternia now after they've been removed from it. even when there's a lot about alien culture, particularly human, that confuses him, he's now in a place where he can... kind of freely admit that a lot of alternia was pretty fucked up. he was always a little aware of it, but it wasn't really the kind of thing you actually voiced if you didn't want to be culled. ]

That's not entirely a good thing.

[She sticks her hands in her pockets and continues walking. Sure is weird to think about a dead civilization you used to belong to and how fucked up it was.]

[ talking about how much troll culture was kind of fucked up would probably veer into why so many of their friends were too, and that may touch on topics they are currently ignoring. ]

If anything it is just stupidly disappointing.

In some ways it makes more sense to me than Earth culture.

[She pauses.]

I'm just ready to ditch this place and move onto somewhere else. That's how this whole thing is supposed to work, right?

[ now seems to be the most convenient time to just world hop. ]
