It could be a government conspiracy but immediately leaping to that conclusion is really cliche?
So let's strike off government conspiracy from the list.

It's a "social" app, that reads like experimentation from the start. Really weird social experimentation, but who knows?

I mean, we think it's suspicious as fuck and yet we're still using it.

Doesn't seem like there are privacy settings, but there are filters? You can filter to a group and stuff like that. Don't know why you want to or not. I can tell you how to flip off notifications or set up pings for certain people posting or w/e. Also, profile images still won't let you change them out. No one seems to know why.

My problem solving with technology usually means throwing it against the nearest somewhat forgiving surface. And by technology, I mean my phone.

I just wait until I absolutely have to replace it.
My phone's like cracked in three places so I think at this point if it explodes it's probably helping me out.

A contract but it's running out.
The money I could be spending on a new phone could go to something else though.
