I'm overthinking this whole thing. I know it. He doesn't even know I'm making a playlist for him, I don't think. I just want to make him something he'll like, but I'm not sure if I should try and hint at my feelings or not.

Actually, yeah. We talked about it. Or more like he told me what guitarists he likes in the context of who he looks up to as players. It was mostly classic rock, I think.

He plays guitar himself, so maybe something that he might be interested in playing himself would work. That's the line I've been thinking along, but I don't really know where to start looking.

Ok in that case, we could always attempt to figure out music that isn't classic rock but still more or less have that same vibe??
That way you can give him shit that's new while simultaneously still appealing to what you know are already his interests.

That sounds like a pretty good plan. I'm still not really sure where to start, though. Where do you go to find new music?

You could always try Spotify?
if you choose a particular artist, it has features that will let you listen to music to other artists who sound similar.
It's probably the easiest way to find new music.

Yosuke recommended Spotify to me, and I told him I didn't have one. So he helped me make one. I haven't done too much with it yet, but this seems like a good place to start. You can use it to make playlists of your own, right?

It's a pretty useful app even though they're one of the ones who will hold certain features hostage until you hand over money.

Well the problem with that is that one second, you're listening to someone's album, and then you blind and suddenly you're on a video of "The Top 100 Sightings of Ghosts Giving Goats Blowjobs."
