Do you ever have really bad luck to the point where for a while you were convinced you placed a curse on yourself and everyone that you know? My track record is not very good and I feel like if I prepare myself for the inevitable it will make things slightly less sucky when I am eventually murdered.

Alternia was kind of a shithole, if I'm being honest. It was pretty violent and the culture was different from Earth? Although I guess there were enough similarities so that we could find some common ground with the humans we met.
